Himmelbauer
Mallnitz - Himmelbauer 2,5 hours)
You go from hotel to the left, immediately after the "Florettabridge"
turn right, go to the bakery Kniesek passing along the river promenade
in the direction of the station, at the inn "Hanover House" cross the
street, go past on the house Edelweiss, the old road Mallnitzer Rabisch
along and further to Lassach until "Rupperhof." Before the
first house you follow the right, the first the broad way to the ditch, one
on a climb and crosses further rising follows through the forest.
Only later in the same amount route under clearings and over a meadow
to get to "Himmelbauer". Here you can enjoy a magnificent view across
the bottom and the Mölltal Reiseckgruppe. After a leisurely break you
can return the same way back, or after Obervellach descend. It follows
the first one the streat and then the "Groppensteinweg", after Obervellach. From Obervellach then go by bus
back to Mallnitz.
